The organic coconut mousse comes from 100% certified organic crops and is made by grinding coconut pulp. At a higher temperature it takes the form of a thick cream, so in order to keep it from being hard just heat it, preferably in a water bath. Coconut mousse, often referred to as coconut butter, is a tasty source of: fiber, potassium, magnesium and iron.
Unlike coconut oil, it is more dense, making it a great addition to omelets, cakes or bars. It also works well as one of the ingredients in a smoothie, or as a substitute for cream, as a crowning touch to a fruit dessert (just be sure not to overdo it).
Storage: Store in a dry and shaded place. Store in the refrigerator after opening. At higher temperatures, the mousse takes on a liquid form. Mix thoroughly before use.
