Subtle reactions of the plant dihydroxyacetone (DHA) with amines, peptides and amino acids present in the stratum corneum leave the skin gently and evenly tinted, as after a sunbath. The effect is identical, but much healthier.

Dihydroxyacetone is water-resistant, so the tan does not wash off, but gradually fades as the dead cells of the stratum corneum peel off. What’s more, you can gradate the effect of DHA, thus controlling the shade of your tan, from light to dark, with the number and frequency of applications.

In addition, the ingredients in the tonic, such as plant propanediol, plant glycerin and sodium hyaluronate, have a strong moisturizing and protective effect. Mallow extract prevents transepidermal water loss, while field poppy and turmeric extracts are very powerful antioxidants that take care of skin regeneration and improvement.
